The Eraser

Thom Yorke - 2006

I'm not generally one to say I told you so but it seems as though Thom didn't necessarily need the almighty help of the outstanding Ed O'brien to make a brilliant album.

This Kid-A sounding solo effort is shall we say 'Packt' with loads of gloriously moody laptop layers laid out by the mercurial Nigel Godrich.

PS Ed O'brien sux and the less said about Phil the better.

Highlights: The Eraser (great ending)

The Clock (detailed blips and electronic scrapes here but I did see Thom do a wonderful scaled down acoustic version somewhere. Probably on youtube. Je suis un geek.)

Black Swan (Yeah, power to the people! Give 'em enough rope!)

Atoms For Peace (fantastic melody)
